MEDIA ALERT
On the Anniversary of Roe, Live Action Demands Equal Protection for All
“We will continue to march until every preborn child has complete and total protection.”
Washington, D.C. – Live Action, one of the nation’s leading human rights organizations, celebrates the lack of Roe v. Wade on what would have been its 50th anniversary.
Live Action Founder and President, Lila Rose, said, “We demand equal protection under the law for all Americans. We have so much to celebrate on this day, but even more work is ahead of us to protect every child from the horrific violence of abortion. January 22nd, 2023 marks 50 years since Roe v. Wade, the U.S. The Supreme Court case that legalized abortion, was decided. And this year will go down in history as the first full year without Roe.
As thousands march for life today in Washington, D.C., we recognize the grievous mistake which unjustly legalized the mass slaughter of innocent, tiny people. We recognize the opportunity that now lies ahead to secure complete legal protection for future generations of our children. We will continue to march until every preborn child has complete and total protection, both legally and culturally.
Science conclusively proves that a unique and biologically distinct human life begins at the moment of fertilization. Every child regardless of their age should be protected from the horrors of abortion and the abortion industry. Congress and the Supreme Court must recognize and apply the equal protection guarantee under the law to all humans found in our Constitution, even from the very beginning of every human’s life.”
