Pro-Life Activists Protest Culture of Death at Democratic National Convention

Live Action Protests DNC Platform and ‘Free Abortions’ Provided by Planned Parenthood One Block from the DNC

Washington, D.C. –  Live Action, one of the nation’s leading human rights organizations, will lead a peaceful protest outside the Democratic National Convention beginning Thursday, August 22, in Chicago, Illinois. These pro-life advocates are present to speak out against the radically pro-abortion DNC platform and the abortions being committed without charge outside the convention. Instead, they offer messages of hope and love for both mothers and their preborn children.  

In addition to being present at each event with activists and signage, the organization will employ large digital box trucks to amplify its message with impactful imagery depicting life in the womb.

Twenty-five babies have been killed outside of the Democratic National Convention.

Planned Parenthood has set up a mobile abortion facility right outside of the convention, distributing drugs that destroy children from a van. Reportedly, at least twenty-five babies have been killed by abortion so far. Twenty-five helpless lives were sacrificed. The presence of Planned Parenthood’s abortion and vasectomy bus so close to the convention is a clear message that the most brutal elements of the abortion industry are emboldened and unchecked.

Murdering children as a brazen political spectacle is revolting to most Americans. Most Americans desire strong families, meaningful lives, and the opportunity to thrive—not the cold, heartless killing that Planned Parenthood is promoting.

The newly approved Democratic Party platform promises “national legislation” that would mandate abortions to be available throughout all stages of pregnancy in every state without limits. The new platform mentions abortion thirteen times and would eliminate every life-saving pro-life law in the nation. This platform is significantly more dangerous for preborn children than previous platforms. 

Pro-life activists will make their message heard in Chicago that all people, especially our youngest children, deserve to live and are legally guaranteed equal protection under the law. 

Earlier this summer. Live Action was also present outside the Republican National Convention in protest of the GOP’s alarming decision to remove pro-life protections from its platform.
