The National Right to Life Committee has announced its annual convention to be held July 7-9 2016 in Herndon, Virginia.
“During this three-day event,” NRLC says, “national experts on life issues gather in one place to equip the pro-life grassroots with the knowledge and skills they need to advance our cause.” It will feature sessions on a variety of topics, including personal accounts of abortion experiences, medical ethics, and effective pro-life messaging.
The convention will feature a number of prominent speakers, including abortion survivor Melissa Ohden, former abortion workers Catherine Adair and Jewels Green (who has written in the past for Live Action News), conservative commentators Guy Benson of Townhall.com and Kathryn Jean Lopez of National Review, pro-life author Dr. Jean Garton, and Colorado Family Action policy director Sarah Zagorski.
This year’s convention will also feature a contest for creative pro-life videos, with one winner receiving free admission to the convention, and three finalists winning free entry to the LifeFest Film Festival in Hollywood. The deadline for submissions is June 15.
