Ironic: Planned Parenthood president slams ‘forcibly removing a child’ from parents

Planned Parenthood

On Friday, Leana Wen, President of Planned Parenthood — the organization that forcibly ends the lives of more than 330,000 human beings every year — sent out a tweet condemning the separation of parents from children at the border in response to a Politico article. Wen tweeted, “Forcibly removing a child from their parent or guardian can cause lifelong physical and emotional harm to the child’s well-being. #HowDareYou.”

The Twitterverse’s response was immediate. “Any feelings on killing kids?” replied The Daily Wire’s Editor-in-Chief Ben Shapiro. Perhaps if the child had been ripped apart instead of removed from the parents, there would be less concern of “lifelong physical and emotional harm.” As the Daily Wire’s Michael Knowles put it, “How about when you use forceps and a vacuum?”

Nationally syndicated radio host Dana Loesch asked another pointed question: “What about removing them from the womb or denying them care if they survive the removal?” The Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act, which would ensure that abortion survivors have appropriate medical care, has been blocked multiple times in the House and Senate. On February 25th, just days before this tweet, Wen blasted the anti-infanticide bill as a way “to shame women, limit our access to health care, and take away our rights.” Planned Parenthood also celebrated as Democrats in states like New York repealed protections for infants that survive abortion.

Speaking of “lifelong physical and emotional harm,” the president of the nation’s leading abortion practitioner might want to examine some of the cases of physical and emotional harm inflicted upon women by her own abortionists.

Leana Wen would do well to place her compassion with ALL women and children who suffer injustice, including the hundreds of thousands that Planned Parenthood harms and kills each year.
