Operation Rescue has obtained 911 records for an emergency call at Cherry Hill Women’s Center (CHWC) in New Jersey on September 21, 2019. An ambulance was needed for a 22-year-old woman who was said to be hemorrhaging after an abortion.
The 911 records indicate that the woman was at CHWC for an elective abortion of her viable child at 24 weeks (six months) gestation. An abortion on a child of this age is most commonly a D&E or dismemberment abortion, during which the preborn child is killed when her arms and legs are ripped from her torso and her head is then crushed. This abortion procedure carries the risk of uterine perforation, among others, and is usually a two-day procedure. Former abortionist Dr. Anthony Levatino explains a D&E abortion in the video below:
According to Operation Rescue, when the 911 dispatcher requested a room number for EMS workers, the CHWC employee said, “Uh, no, just the back of the parking lot. That’s where we usually meet EMS, so we’ll have the door open for them.” [Emphasis added.]
It seems the need for emergency assistance is common practice for CHWC. It was about one year ago that the facility called for an ambulance for a patient whom the staff member claimed was “miscarrying.” It is also the abortion facility at which Emily Letts filmed her own abortion – a video that has been criticized by some as fake. CHWC also made the news when one of its abortionists, Eric Yahav, tried to force his girlfriend to undergo an abortion and again when the facility faced a wrongful birth lawsuit after a baby survived an abortion and was born with disabilities as a result. The center paid out a $1.65 million settlement in that case.

Ultrasound at 22 weeks
CHWC is the only abortion facility in New Jersey with a license as an ambulatory surgical center. This means that CHWC can commit abortions after 14 weeks gestation, unlike other abortion facilities in the state. CHWC commits elective abortions up to 25 weeks — a full month after the child is able to survive outside the womb.
At 24 weeks a child is fully developed and simply needs more time to grow. Countless children have survived such a premature birth and others have survived after being born as early as 21 weeks.
