The abortion industry has begun to exploit the fears many pregnant women are facing amid the coronavirus pandemic. As women deal with job loss, added stress, fears of being without partners in the delivery room, and concerns that their babies may contract COVID-19, pro-life pregnancy centers are more needed than ever — and they need help more than ever to continue to help women choose life. Join Live Action and pregnancy center leaders from around the country on Friday, April 17th for a live webcast on Live Action’s Facebook, YouTube, and Twitter at 8:00 p.m. Eastern.

As the COVID-19 crisis continues to unfold, abortion businesses claim that many more women are seeking abortion. These businesses in many cases have stopped providing any actual health care services and are focusing solely on abortion. They are fighting hard in the courts to ensure that they can continue to profit from abortion, despite other nonessential and elective surgeries being postponed.

Pro-life call center Option Line has reported a 40 percent increase in calls amid the pandemic, and pro-life pregnancy centers are dealing with their own hardships as they fight to provide resources and supplies to mothers and families in need. It’s these centers who are truly caring for women and their children in this unprecedented time of need in America. These facilities aren’t profiting off of frightened women who believe abortion is their only option. They are providing counseling to help women through these difficult times and supplying them with tangible resources that will help them build successful futures for their families.

Hosted by Joanna Hyatt, Live Action Director of Strategic Partnerships, the webcast will highlight ways pro-lifers can help women and save lives during the coronavirus pandemic. Hyatt will be joined by Astrid Bennett of Los Angeles Pregnancy Services, Martha Avila of Heartbeat of Miami, Allison Millet of Women’s New Life Clinic in New Orleans, and Savannah Marten of Pregnancy Center of Greater Toledo. These pro-life pregnancy center leaders will share how COVID-19 has affected their work and how pro-lifers can help support them during this time.
