Five of the most shocking abortion industry confessions made under oath

Deeply guarded secrets exist within the walls of every abortion business. But while the walls may not be talking, abortion industry workers are. When they have sworn under oath to be honest about what they have seen and done, they often leave those in courtrooms shocked.

Confession #1: “No question” babies are born alive at Planned Parenthood

During the preliminary hearing regarding the Center for Medical Progress’s undercover journalism exposing Planned Parenthood’s role in trafficking aborted baby body parts, Dr. Forrest Smith, an abortionist for 50 years, made waves when he testified in favor of the pro-life group. He said, under oath, that based on a Planned Parenthood conference presentation, babies were and are surviving abortions at Planned Parenthood facilities.

“There’s no question in my mind that at least some of these fetuses were live births,” he said. In cases in which feticide is not used to ensure fetal death during the abortion, Smith told the court, “No question it’s alive.”

Confession #2: Abortionist says “there’s no set period” or age at which he would not commit an abortion

Late-term abortionist Curtis Boyd is currently facing a wrongful death suit in the 2017 death of Keisha Atkins. During his deposition, Boyd says that out of “compassion” he feels called to serve his community by committing a “full range” of abortions, in the “first, second, third trimester.” When asked what age is the oldest he (or any of the abortionists in his Southwestern Women’s Options facility in Albuquerque, New Mexico) would commit abortions on preborn children, he replied, “There’s no set period.”

Abortion is legal until birth in the United States for any reason, depending on state laws. While abortion businesses like Planned Parenthood would have the public believe that late-term abortions only happen in cases in which the baby receives a fetal diagnosis or the mother’s life is in jeopardy, the truth is that frequently, healthy babies carried by healthy mothers are killed in the late second and third trimesters.

Confession #3: “The baby would fall out and it would be in the toilet.”

During the trial of abortionist Dr. Kermit Gosnell who was convicted of killing born babies and is currently in prison, Gosnell’s former employees testified about what happened on a consistent basis inside the facility, including how he used surgical scissors to “snip” the spinal cords of fully delivered babies who survived abortions. Employees also spoke of how the induction method abortions committed at the facility usually occurred.

“I would take the woman to the bathroom, they would sit on the toilet and basically the baby would fall out and it would be in the toilet,” said one employee, “and I would be rubbing her back and trying to calm her down for two, three, four hours until Dr. Gosnell comes.”

Confession #4: “It would rain fetuses. Fetuses and blood all over the place.”

During Gosnell’s trial it was revealed that inspectors found bottles and bags of aborted babies and 30 specimen jars that contained just baby feet. It was a common practice to snip the spinal cords of any baby who survived an abortion.

An unlicensed medical school graduate who worked at Gosnell’s “House of Horrors” abortion facility gave shocking testimony of what it was like to work inside the facility: “It would rain fetuses. Fetuses and blood all over the place.”

Confession #5: Abortionist admits she tells patients not to go to the ER in an emergency

Late-term abortionist Dr. Carmen Landau admitted under oath in the deposition of Boyd’s wrongful death suit that she and other abortionists at Southwestern Women’s Options tell women not to go the emergency room or call 911 if they suffer a medical emergency at their hotel during their three or four-day late-term abortions. When asked why they do this, Landau said:

Because oftentimes, when unexpected or concerning things are happening overnight, one might be … have … the first impulse would be to go to the emergency room. And the emergency room personnel are, in the vast majority of cases, not the best qualified to take care of a patient who’s undergoing an abortion procedure. We are.

Emergency room personnel are trained to handle any and all emergencies. The truth is that the risks of abortion are extremely high for women during late-term abortions, including death. To tell women not to call 911 in a medical emergency is unethical, but because there is a risk that the child will be born alive, abortionists are willing to put the women’s lives in danger in order to protect themselves.

When an abortion worker swears under oath to tell the truth, he or she can often be caught trying to avoid the question. But sometimes, the truth about the abortion industry comes out—and it’s horrifying.
