Over 2,000 people gathered at the historic Santa Monica Pier in Santa Monica, California, on October 16 to honor life as part of Live Action’s Unite for Life rally, the kickoff of Live Action’s nationwide 2363 campaign.
The event featured musical performances from several artists including Colton Dixon and Hulvey, and saw a stellar lineup of pro-life speakers including former NFL player Andre Levrone Jr., speaker and survivor Lianna Rebolledo, evangelist and advocate Nick Vujicic, Ohio Legislator Jena Powell, the Center for Medical Progress’s David Daleiden, former abortionist Dr. Kathi Aultman, and abortion pill reversal patient and advocate Rebekah Hagan.
Live Action founder and president Lila Rose spoke about the significance and ultimate goal of the campaign:
2363 is not a house number, 2363 is not an address, it’s not a date, it’s not just a number. 2363 is the number every single day in this country, of children, sons and daughters, boys and girls, who are killed by the great violence of abortion. …
We are determined to bring 2363 to zero. That is what we are here to do. We are here to fight for the life of every child… The 2363 campaign is designed to change people by telling the truth, from pro-choice to pro-life. That change is possible.

Following Rose, evangelist and anti-abortion advocate Nick Vujicic appealed to Christians to take a stand for life:
There is nothing closer to God’s heart than saving unborn children, and there is no greater pleasure that Satan has than killing unborn children…
Guys, you’re here. You have need to count the cost, because out of anything, apart from souls being saved, is saving the lives of innocent children and having America stop one of the four biggest iniquities that we could ever do, which is the sacrifice of children…
I’ll tell you right now, put on your armor… Be the church… You are a child of the King of Kings and Lord of Lords and we are here to stand for 2363 to make a movement ignite.
John Amanchukwu, City Ambassador for Love Life USA in North Carolina, also encouraged Christians to take a stand while giving an impassioned speech about the racism of abortion.
G. K Chesterton said two things. He said, ‘To have a right to do a thing is not at all the same as to be right in doing it.’ And then he said, ‘Fallacies do not cease to be fallacies because they become fashions.’
The reason why the fallacy and fashion of abortion is legal in America is because America loves sin more than it loves life. We love pleasure more than we love responsibility. We love convenience more than compassion. We love lust more than liberty. And we love the present more than we love the promise of a child’s bright future.
Thusly, our infatuation with sin has led to a casual, mundane attitude toward the murder of babies.
Amanchukwu continued his speech, emphasizing that “of the 2,363 babies who are killed daily, 900 or more are Black.” He called out the Church for trivializing the abortion issue, and then issued a call to action for every member in the audience.
“There are 700 abortion clinics in America, but only 30% have a Christian witness [on the sidewalks outside]. And so, there is a mission field where you can go,” he said. “Let’s fill the gap. Let’s make sure that by 2022, that we cover every abortion clinic in this country. And when you get tired, keep fighting. When they call you names, keep fighting. When they tell you you’re stupid for fighting, keep fighting.”
Following Amanchukwu was Rebecca Hagan, who shared her story with abortion pill reversal. “I will never forget the day I was pregnant with my second child. It was not a happy moment,” she said. “The thought of parenting another child, this time completely alone, seemed impossible.”
Hagan spoke of how her father threatened to kick her out of the house if she ever got pregnant again under his roof.
‘This pregnancy wasn’t just inconvenient, it was devastating and terrifying, and it was going to cost me everything,” she said. “In a moment of panic, abortion seemed like hope… That’s how twisted and immoral abortion is, because it pits a mother against her own child, and it tells her only one of us can survive… That’s the lie I was sold, that’s the lie 2,363 other women are told and sold every day.”
Hagan took the first abortion pill but described feeling instant regret. She immediately searched Google and found information on the abortion pill reversal process. She told the crowd that she spoke to a nurse who helped her through the process of finding a doctor who could help her with a progesterone treatment to reverse the abortion pill’s process. Thanks to abortion pill reversal, she was able to stop the effects of the first abortion pill and give birth to her healthy son Zachariah seven months later.
“Zachariah didn’t ruin the life I had, he enhanced it,” she said, ending with the powerful statement, “If we can reverse an abortion, we can reverse Roe v. Wade.”
Rose spoke again following the speaker lineup, asking everyone in attendance to share the 2363 video, found on the campaign website.
“What are we going to do to bring 2363 to zero? What are we going to do to bring this message to every city in America?” she said. “We want to win this fight. We want to end abortion… We can do this together. It is possible. Hearts and minds do change on abortion.”
