Washington Planned Parenthood facility meant to attract women from Idaho

Planned Parenthood

Planned Parenthood of Greater Washington opened a new facility in Wenatchee, Washington, this week. The abortion giant claims that the business’s close proximity to a bus line, as well as a large parking lot, will make it an easy access point. Located roughly three hours from the Idaho border, the facility hopes to cater to women traveling from that state, where preborn babies are protected from homicide in the womb.

According to its website, the new facility commits abortions through 10 weeks with the abortion pill. The abortion pill is a two-step process using the drugs mifepristone and misoprostol. Mifepristone blocks progesterone, starving the preborn child of the nutrients he needs to survive. Misoprostol causes the mother to deliver her child’s body.

“Our new health center location helps ensure enhanced access to low-cost, high-quality reproductive health care in the Wenatchee Valley area,” CEO Karl Eastlund said. “We are extremely grateful to our local community of Planned Parenthood supporters and all our dedicated staff members who helped make this move happen.”

Though abortion advocates dismiss the abortion pill procedure as nothing more than routine healthcare, it is an extremely risky process that puts the mother at risk of physical injuries and mental trauma. The abortion pill’s complications include severe cramping, contractions, and heavy bleeding, as well as nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal pain, and headaches. Studies have shown that the chemical abortion procedure is four times more dangerous than a first-trimester surgical abortion. Many women have been traumatized after passing the remains of their dead children — just some of their stories are shared in Live Action’s I Saw My Baby series.

In addition to the lasting pain inflicted on the woman, the abortion pill ends the life of a preborn child. At 10 weeks, the child has distinct limbs, her fingernails and toenails are starting to grow, and she can even yawn. Women who view their baby after the abortion pill procedure at this stage are left with little doubt that the child is a distinct and unique human being.

Abortion proponents may be celebrating Washington’s new abortion business, but there is nothing to praise about a facility where women are placed in harm’s way and the lives of preborn children are lost to homicide.
