According to pro-life watchdog group Operation Rescue, a woman and her partner had to call 911 three weeks after her abortion as she experienced post-abortion hemorrhaging, including blood clots, in a parking lot near the abortion facility.
The woman had attempted to return to the Ohio abortion facility on November 15, 2024, where she had undergone an abortion three weeks prior on October 24, but she and her partner had parked across the street in the parking lot of a pro-life pregnancy center, which was closed at the time. After her partner called 911, paramedics were sent to help her.
Not many details are known, as the 911 call is heavily redacted; however, the woman appears to have undergone an abortion in late October at Women’s Med Center of Dayton, a facility located in Kettering, Ohio. It is unknown if she had a surgical abortion or if she took the abortion pill, which can cause extended and excessive bleeding.
When attempting to return to the abortion facility to deal with the complications, the couple apparently parked in the lot for a pregnancy resource center located directly across the street from Women’s Med Center instead of at the abortion facility itself.
Much of the information in the 911 audio has been removed, but some details can be gleaned. The woman is heard moaning in the background, and the dispatcher seems to verify that the woman was bleeding and couldn’t breathe. The phone was passed back and forth from the woman to her partner, the latter of whom did most of the talking on the call. He sounded worried throughout most of the conversation and could be heard repeatedly calling out to his partner as he spoke to the dispatchers.
“She had an abortion,” he told the dispatcher. “She’s been bleeding… baby? She got blood clots everywhere.”
The call became more confusing when the dispatcher asked if they had contacted the “women’s center.” It’s unclear if the man on the phone knew where the abortion facility was actually located. “Yes, they tell me to come here on Stroop, but — ” he said, pausing when the dispatcher asked if anyone was helping them. He then responded, “No. She is laying in the parking lot.”
The couple appeared to have called the abortion facility, were told to drive there, and then parked in the wrong area when they arrived. It is unclear if either the man or the woman had ever been in person to the facility before. It is also unclear if the couple attempted again to reach the abortion facility by phone before calling 911.

“She’s laying in the parking lot?” the dispatcher responded after asking if the woman was behaving normally. The man responded, “She — she’s laying in the parking lot… she’s — baby? She lost some, yes, she lost a lot of blood.”
At one point, the dispatcher asks if “they” are open and if the man can talk to a nurse. His answer was redacted, so it’s impossible to know if he actually sought help from the abortion facility or not.
However, in time, sirens can be heard in the background of the call and the man seems to confirm to his partner that the medics have arrived to care for her. The outcome of this tragic situation is unknown.
Operation Rescue noted that the abortion facility was purchased by Planned Parenthood shortly after this emergency occurred, citing the Planned Parenthood website. The facility, which has a long history of injuring women, had been under the ownership of Martin Haskell, the inventor of the now-federally banned horrific D&X “partial-birth” abortion method, in which the baby is delivered breech, except for her head. The abortionist then punctures the base of the baby’s neck, inserts a cannula, and suction out the baby’s brain before fully delivering the now-dead baby.
