Abortion clinic escort mocks motherhood with yearly fundraiser

Pro-aborts will stop at nothing to raise a dollar for the right for women to kill their own children.

Pro-aborts will stop at nothing to raise a dollar for the right for women to kill their own children. Some throw shallow events like Right to Shoes (a not-so-fun play on “right to choose”), others ask for donations to Planned Parenthood in lieu of birthday gifts (ironic), and one clinic’s escort takes pledges for picketers using Mother’s Day as the drive to kill babies.

It’s a simple idea. According to everysaturdaymorning.net, a blog by a clinic escort in Louisville, Kentucky, the Sunday before Mother’s Day is the most active abortion clinic-picketing day of the year. So on that day, this particular clinic escort uses the presence of pro-lifers to raise money for pro-abortion interests. Supporters can pledge a single amount, a dollar amount per protester, or a dollar amount per 100 protesters.

Mother’s Day is celebrated as a day to thank Mom for all she does, but it’s also a day for mothers to reflect on the joys and even stresses of being a mother. All in all, Mother’s Day is a celebration of life. After all, without children there would be no Mother’s Day. Therefore, it makes perfect sense that pro-lifers would be feeling more inspired to fight for a child’s right to be born during the time of year in which we are honoring mothers and children. Yet while pro-lifers look forward to Mother’s Day as a day to celebrate life and an opportunity to reach mothers who are in danger of aborting their children, pro-aborts use Mother’s Day and the magnificence of motherhood to raise cash in order to destroy the lives of future children and their mothers in one single act.

This clinic might be making some money, but while those who use Mother’s Day as a reason to donate money for abortion are mocking motherhood and the miracle of life in one misguided step, those on the pro-life side will march on, hopeful that the jovial atmosphere surrounding Mother’s Day will inspire women to choose life for their children.
