Abortion facility runs contest for chance at naming 'abortion machine'

An abortion business in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, decided to run a contest, requesting a donation of $10 or more in exchange for submitting a name to be considered for its new “abortion machine.”

Key Takeaways:

  • Abortion non-profit, Care For All Community Clinic, chose to run a contest asking donors for $10 to be entered for a chance to name the facility's new aspiration abortion machine.

  • The facility claims the abortion machine will allow for 'better abortions.'

  • In suction aspiration abortions, a living preborn child (usually in the first trimester of pregnancy) is suctioned from a woman's womb in pieces. The abortionist then uses a sharp metal curette to scrape any remains of the child’s body from the mother's uterus.

The Details:

The abortion facility, Care For All Community Clinic, wrote in an Instagram post:

"Think of the bragging rights, street cred, and the boost on your resume when you tell everyone you named an abortion machine!"

The machine in question, which is a vacuum aspirator, will be used to conduct a form of surgical abortion known as suction aspiration D&C abortions. These abortions are used to kill preborn children from about five to 13 weeks.

First trimester babies aren’t blobs of tissue — they’re amazingly complex

The center wrote on its donation page that it had purchased a new aspiration machine in order to “provide better abortion care.” In an aspiration abortion, an abortionist forcibly dilates a woman’s cervix and inserts a vacuum to suction her preborn child from her womb. The abortionist then uses a sharp metal curette to scrape any remains of the child’s body from the uterus.

Dear Reader,

Every day in America, more than 2,800 preborn babies lose their lives to abortion.

That number should break our hearts and move us to action.

Ending this tragedy requires daily commitment from people like you who refuse to stay silent.

Millions read Live Action News each month — imagine the impact if each of us took a stand for life 365 days a year.

Right now, we’re urgently seeking 500 new Life Defenders (monthly donors) to join us before the end of October. And thanks to a generous $250,000 matching grant, your first monthly gift will be DOUBLED to help save lives and build a culture that protects the preborn.

Will you become one of the 500 today? Click here now to become a Live Action Life Defender and have your first gift doubled.

Together, we can end abortion and create a future where every child is cherished and every mother is supported.

Live Action's What is Abortion? video series notes that these suction machines typically exhibit a strength “approximately 10 to 20 times the force of a household vacuum cleaner.”

The abortion non-profit, which opened in June, is run by Executive Director Ali Kliegman and is one of just two abortion facilities remaining in Wisconsin after Planned Parenthood’s federal Medicaid funding was pulled.

A local news article referred to Kliegman in an interview as “they” and said the center plans to offer “gender-affirming care” in the future. The trend of abortion facilities offering transgender procedures has escalated in recent years; almost all Planned Parenthood locations now offer cross-sex hormones — some offer them to minors, as well.

In a different interview, Kliegman claimed that the abortion facility's building had been vandalized, despite admitting there was no way to confirm if Care For All was the target, as it is housed in a building containing other businesses. Kliegman went on to say that pro-life sidewalk counselors or protesters who gather outside the abortion facility are committing a form of “violence” — even if they “just stand there and don’t talk to anyone.”

The Bottom Line:

Holding a contest to name a machine that will kill potentially thousands of innocent children is apparently seen as a funny joke to many abortion supporters, who dehumanize and then support the killing of vulnerable preborn children who have no way to protect themselves from the violence of abortion.
