The birth of Aberli and Hank Spear’s daughter is a unique event these new parents are unlikely to forget, for more reasons than one. As Fox News reported, Aberli gave birth to her daughter Judah Grace on 2/22/22 at 2:22 a.m. EST, in room number 2 at the Alamance Regional Medical Center in Burlington, North Carolina.

“Today is an extra special ‘twos-day’ for this newborn and her family!” Cone Health Alamance Regional Medical Center, a statewide hospital network, wrote Tuesday on Facebook and Twitter. “Judah Grace Spear was born on 2/22/22 at 2:22 a.m. at Alamance Regional Medical Center – in labor and delivery room 2!”

It seems the delivery date is not the only reason to celebrate the blessing of this new life, however. According to a report from People, Aberli is a survivor of Hodgkin’s lymphoma, cancer that impacts the lymphatic system. The treatments Aberil underwent for the condition, which typically include chemotherapy and radiation, reduced her chances of becoming pregnant.

“Baby Judah is an answered prayer for her family,” the hospital wrote. “Mom Aberli is a Hodgkin’s lymphoma survivor, and the necessary cancer treatments she went through made pregnancy unlikely. But the family continued to pray for a little one – and today their prayer was answered!”

As Cone Health explained in its Facebook post, the name “Judah” means “praise,” which the hospital noted fits the little girl’s story “perfectly.”

“She is a blessing for her family!” The Facebook post reads. “We are so happy for this sweet family! Happy birthday, Judah Grace!

In a phone call to WFMY-TV, Aberli’s mother, Kristi Engelbrecht, emphasized how Judah’s birth is truly an answer to prayer, considering her daughter has been battling cancer for six years.

“Judah is a reminder of all things good, God’s promises kept, and a community pulling together for the good of one another,” she said.
