“Dearest Anti-Woman Extremist”: Abortionist Carhart sends Christmas card to pregnancy center

LeRoy Carhart, the late-term abortionist linked to a series of patient deaths and injuries, stunned area pro-lifers by sending nearby pro-life center Germantown Pregnancy Choices a Christmas CD with a card addressed to “Dearest Anti-Woman Extremist,” according to pro-life leader Ellen Castellano of Germantown, Maryland.

The card wished them “Merry Christmas and Best Wishes for a Wonderful Holiday Season and a Happy New Year” and to “stay warm this winter,” with “love from all of us here at Germantown.” The CD contained traditional Christmas carols, including religious songs such as “O Holy Night” and “The First Noel.”

LeRoy Carhart was featured in Live Action’s “InHuman” investigation, in which he states that a baby is only a baby if the mother believes it to be one. He also likened a deceased child in utero to “meat in a Crock-Pot.”

According to Castellano, Carhart also adorned his own abortion clinic with Christmas decorations for the first time in five years. “The significance of an abortionist like Carhart pretending to have Christian values and honoring Christmas is a slap in the face and a complete farce,” she told LifeSiteNews. “The message they are sending is so messed up (we kill babies for a living, yet honor the birth of the Savior).”

As part of their ongoing efforts to cast pro-lifers as extremists, abortion defenders have cited unwanted flyers to abortion clinics as examples of “harassment” and “targeted intimidation,” raising the question of whether they would concede that Carhart’s mailing to Germantown Pregnancy Choices could be considered a form of harassment as well.
