A historic church in Atlanta, Georgia, where Martin Luther King, Jr. once preached, was vandalized with pro-abortion graffiti on July 3. Now the FBI is now asking for anyone with information to come forward.
The Ebenezer Baptist Church Heritage Sanctuary was spray-painted with the words, “If abortions aren’t safe neither are you.” In addition to being the church where King, Jr. preached, it is also the current church of pro-abortion Pastor Raphael Warnock, who was recently elected to the Senate. King, Jr. was the co-pastor of the church alongside his father until his assassination in 1968.
The FBI released photos of 10 people who were captured by cameras, and who are believed to have committed the crime.

“The group stopped in the location by the church where spray paint was later discovered,” the FBI said in a press release, according to 11Alive. “The group then walked together to a concealed area, and re-emerged without the dark clothing. The group then split up, and four of the individuals went in one direction and six of the individuals went in another direction.”
The FBI also released video and announced a $10,000 reward for information leading to the arrests of the perpetrators.

The church is part of the Martin Luther King, Jr. National Historical Park, and is federally protected. All of the perpetrators seem to be white, and considering their target was a Black church affiliated with a major civil rights leader, it seems odd that the FBI is only months later asking for tips regarding this crime.
The vandalism occurred shortly after the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade in the Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization ruling. Since then, widespread threats and violence have been directed toward the pro-life movement; the Department of Justice, however, has been slow to respond. It took months for the FBI to announce a reward in this case; similar crimes committed against pro-life organizations have seemingly received little to no action at all from the Bureau.
While the Department of Justice ignores the assaults against pro-life organizations, they have been arresting and terrorizing pro-life advocates — even in front of their children — for alleged violations of the FACE Act. The disparity has been so great that lawmakers have begun demanding answers about the seeming politicization of the FBI.
