WASHINGTON, DC – June 15 The Government Accountability Office (GAO) has released a new report on the amount of federal funds provided to organizations that promote or provide abortions, including Planned Parenthood. Planned Parenthood is the largest abortion chain in the United States, performing over 300,000 abortions according to their latest annual report.

The report was requested by Rep. Pete Olson (R-TX) and several key Members of Congress.  Live Action, Family Research Council and Concerned Women for America will join the members for a press conference to highlight the report findings and detail why funding of abortion organizations should end.

Live Action, a youth-led nonprofit, has released investigative videos exposing corruption and illegal activity within Planned Parenthood. Investigations reveal Planned Parenthood accepting race-based donations for abortion, failing to report child sexual abuse, circumventing parental consent laws, and providing medically inaccurate counseling to patients.
