The March for Life has announced its 2024 theme, “With every woman, for every child,” as organizers prepare for the 51st annual event to take place in Washington D.C. on January 19.
A promo video released ahead of the event details what the slogan means: caring for both women and their preborn children, especially those facing unexpected pregnancies.
“We may not know what led her to a moment as significant as this, but if there’s one thing we do know, it’s that you’ve got this, and you don’t have to do it alone,” says the voiceover. “You deserve all the care, support, and encouragement you need, not just to live, but to flourish. Because you are worthy of love — and so is that little one.”
March for Life president, Jeanne Mancini, recently spoke with Fox News Digital about the continued importance of the march, especially in a post-Roe society.
“The March for Life was born in a moment after Roe was overturned, and there was a lot of confusion about choosing life, and the unborn child,” Mancini said. “We think this particular moment calls for these marches, and that the pro-life grassroots needs strengthening and even a little direction right now. That’s where we see the state march program as being so critically important.”
She noted that part of working to ensure more pro-life laws are passed means helping women who are experiencing unplanned pregnancies.

“There’s so much confusion about what it means to be a woman, and frankly, what it means to be pro-life. The heart of pro-life is supporting women and wanting what’s best for them,” she said.
“We see two patients when someone is facing an unexpected pregnancy, and we want both of those patients to fully flourish.”
Mancini also discussed the distinction between the pro-abortion movement, which tells women in difficult situations that they need abortion, and the pro-life movement, which steps in to help and support these women.
“We want to encourage and support women, come alongside them and strengthen them; and tell them, ‘You can do this. You have what it takes to do this. This is going to be hard, but it will be beautiful, and we will be here with you.'”
