Illinois college town’s new Planned Parenthood punctures young woman’s uterus

A Planned Parenthood facility open for a little over six months has sent a woman to the emergency room with a perforated uterus.

Operation Rescue obtained audio of the 911 call, as well as the computer-aided dispatch transcript for the emergency, which took place in May.

“Um, we need a patient that needs transferred to the emergency room,” the staffer said, adding, “Uh, the patient was having a procedure abortion, and there was a perforation of her uterus.” The dispatcher seemed confused, asking what kind of clinic they were, so the staffer clarified that they were a Planned Parenthood… but the dispatcher still wasn’t familiar, so the staffer explained, “… Planned Parenthood. An abortion clinic.”

The staffer then said the victim was a 23-year-old woman who was bleeding, although it was currently “controlled.”

According to the CAD transcript, the woman required advanced life support from paramedics dispatched at the highest priority, before being taken to Memorial Hospital of Carbondale.

Carbondale has become a hotspot for the abortion industry, as it is both the home of Southern Illinois University and is in close proximity to southern, pro-life states like Kentucky and Tennessee — as CHOICES abortion chain CEO Jennifer Pepper explained in 2022. “When they announced the Dobbs case, we knew that meant that we were likely going to lose access to abortion in Tennessee within the next 12 months,” she said. “I stared at a map and it just kind of all came to me and (I) said to my team — ‘I think it’s this town, in Carbondale. Carbondale had this opportunity to be a critical access point for the entire southeastern United States.”

This particular facility, the third abortion business to set up shop in Carbondale, raised eyebrows due to an unusual feature included with it: a children’s playroom. Originally, the facility only committed chemical abortions, but has since added surgical abortions. And in this ghoulish center, children can play while their siblings are being killed just down the hallway.

“We do not know how much blood this young woman lost, whether she needed a transfusion or multiple transfusions, or if she lost her life,” Operation Rescue president Troy Newman said. “We hope she recovered from her injury and pray she becomes a voice for voiceless innocent babies while also sounding the alarm for mothers considering abortion.”

The DOJ put a pro-life grandmother in jail for protesting the killing of preborn children. Please take 30-seconds to TELL CONGRESS: STOP THE DOJ FROM TARGETING PRO-LIFE AMERICANS.
