Right after a @NatAbortionFed report showed increase in violence & threats to providers, the #MOleg voted to hold @PPSLR CEO in contempt.

Why does Planned Parenthood think they’re above the law?
Why does Planned Parenthood think they’re above the law?
The CEO of Planned Parenthood of the St. Louis Region and Southwest Missouri, Mary Kogut, might be held in contempt and put in jail for stonewalling efforts by state lawmakers to get documents that would shed light on why there have been so many health and safety violations. Pro-abortion extremists were obviously horrified, calling it aggressive and unwarranted. Planned Parenthood, for their part, went right for the kill: they blamed it on the supposed increase in violence and threats against abortionists.
Actually, it has nothing to do with that whatsoever. They’re being investigated, and Kogut could potentially be held in contempt, because conditions are so horrid.
The documents are needed so that the state legislature can find out whether allegations made by StemExpress whistleblower Holly O’Donnell that fetal tissue was taken from women who refused to sign consent forms. (One would wonder why Kogut is stalling so much if the consent forms are on the up-and-up.) On top of that, there have been an overwhelming number of health and safety violations at the clinic, with an unacceptable 30 patients sent to the hospital between 2009 and 2015.
Of course, the pro-abortion extremists don’t care about any of that. Neither does Planned Parenthood. Apparently, their attitude is that a few crazy people e-mailing them unacceptable threats or making rude phone calls means they don’t have to be held accountable. They think they’re above the law. This is just the latest example.
Planned Parenthood has a long history of breaking the law. Live Action has uncovered many of their illegal activities, with perhaps the most disturbing being their willingness to cover up sexual abuse of children, along with aiding and abetting child sex trafficking.

Sadly, this doesn’t happen to just undercover investigators. Planned Parenthood has been found in real life covering up child rape. Kidnappers and rapists have continuously been able to use Planned Parenthood as a tool to cover up their crimes, by forcing their victims into abortions — and Planned Parenthood hands them right back to their abusers.
On top of that, there are the heinous crimes uncovered by the Center for Medical Progress. By selling the bodies of aborted babies, Planned Parenthood is breaking multiple laws. Planned Parenthood President and CEO Cecile Richards even admitted herself that the rules get “manipulated”. They’ve also been caught breaking other federal laws, like illegal partial-birth abortions and illegally manipulating abortion procedures. They were even caught killing babies born alive after abortions.
Yet Planned Parenthood doesn’t think they should be held accountable for any of this. They think they can do whatever they want, ignore laws, and get away with it scot-free. On top of that, they think they should be given our taxpayer dollars, even while they break laws left and right (and, er, rob Medicaid blind).
Planned Parenthood is a dangerous organization. Yet it seems there is nothing that can make their supporters stop backing them. How many women must they maim and kill? How many crimes must they commit? How evil do they have to be before we can stop them?
