Tragedy: 1 in 3 preborn babies in London become victims of abortion

Roe v. Wade, ultrasound

The culture of death has invaded England, and London in particular. A tragic new study has found that over 30% of all pregnancies in London end in abortion — meaning 1 in 3 preborn babies are having their lives snuffed out in the womb.

London is the abortion capital of England, with over 30 per cent of all pregnancies in three of the city’s boroughs ending in termination, new figures reveal.

Lambeth, Southwark and Islington have the highest abortion rates in the country, with the capital’s boroughs making up the entire top 10, in figures that show how women across England and Wales now see having children as a low priority.

… Outside of London, Liverpool has the highest abortion rate with 28.1 per cent of pregnancies in the city being terminating in 2013. Knowsley, Manchester, Halton and Wirral, all of which are also in the North West of England, feature highly too.

The majority of abortions are performed on women who are unmarried, but in relationships. The new data is more troubling signs of the prevalence of abortion in England, which is currently at an all-time high. In fact, abortion is so prevalent in England and Wales that it accounts for over a quarter of all deaths.

This information shows how important it is to foster a culture of life, where all lives are seen as valuable. When a society falls into a culture of death, this kind of tragedy and violence is the inevitable result — and it doesn’t end in just abortion, either. The United Kingdom has also seen thousands of people sentenced to death without their consent on the Liverpool Care Pathway. Multiple politicians have called for preborn babies with disabilities to be forcibly aborted. And a quarter of all deaths are caused by abortion. It speaks volumes about how desensitized to death and violence that the United Kingdom has become.
