Warren Buffett continues to pour tens of millions of dollars into the abortion industry

Just before Thanksgiving, Warren Buffett, one of the wealthiest men in the world, donated over $750 million to charities run by or named for his family members — a move he said was due to his children’s desire to not be “dynastically wealthy.” But while charitable giving is usually a good thing, in Buffett’s case, it’s likely to benefit the abortion industry.

CNBC reported that 1.5 million Class B shares in Berkshire Hathaway (once run by Buffett, who is still a significant stakeholder) was donated to the Susan Thompson Buffett Foundation, which is named for his first wife. The Associated Press further pointed out that the scope of this foundation’s efforts often revolve around abortion.

“The Susan Thompson Buffett Foundation keeps a low profile, but over the years it has been a major supporter of abortion rights, making large gifts to Planned Parenthood and other groups,” the Associated Press reported. “Buffett hasn’t announced any changes in his giving plans since the U.S. Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade earlier this year.”

Warren Buffett and the Buffett Foundation are no strangers to funding abortion. Both are funders of Danco Laboratories, which manufactures the abortion pill. Buffett also funds the eugenics-based Population Council, which brought the abortion pill to the United States.

Additionally, Buffett is the primary financier of the Bixby Center’s Ryan Residency Program at UCSF, an abortionist training program. He has also given millions to the Society for Family Planning, a pro-abortion group, and also supports the National Abortion Federation (NAF), with a report from the Washington Post saying Buffett’s work with NAF “helped fund at least 10 percent of all abortions in the United States in 2020.”

The Susan Thompson Buffett Foundation itself has given billions to pro-abortion, pro-population control groups. This includes hundreds of millions of dollars in donations to Planned Parenthood, the nation’s largest abortion chain.

Lila Rose, the founder and president of Live Action, has previously called Buffett a “genocide maker,” with his abortion funding akin to “money invested for genocide by warlords.”
